Skate Night in Review - March 16th

Skate night last night was a lot of fun. Kory and Nick returned healthier than they had been, and it was good to have them back. Kory bought Nick a Pepsi for getting onto the grind rail, which was pretty cool for a new skater.

We had three new skaters this week - Michael, Colyn, and Dakota. We did a short study on "What is the Bible?" Colyn led the closing prayer, we ate through two large pizzas, and had several bruises from some beautiful falls but no major injuries. Praise God for that!

Colyn & Dakota's dad, Jamie, took some great pictures of his sons. Madison (their sister) seemed to have a good time just hanging out, and it was nice to have a girl there. Our volunteers did a great job of setting up and tearing down, and overall it was a good night at skate night.

A quick reminder to everyone to keep me in your prayers as I travel to Alabama to visit my friend for the rest of this week. Jason will be holding down the fort until I get home. I'll be back in time for Sunday church service and Monday night's skate night.

Also, please remember that Monday, March 30th we'll be having a guest speaker as well as our first "free pizza night." So bring your friends. As always, parents are welcome to hang out but dress warmly, if you are not skating it gets pretty cold on the sidelines.
